Today, times are challenging here in America, and for men of color, those times have become even more challenging. Because according to the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics, the average U.S. life expectancy dropped by a full year in the first half of 2020 alone.

For Black men, that number is tripled, and for Hispanic men, that number is nearly two and half times less. Although these numbers, startling as they are, seem to be par for the course here in the United States when it comes to the health and treatment of Black and Hispanic men.
